Team Wylde Ride have toured many countries by bicycle and have had many awesome experiences in other countries. Every time we returned to South Africa we realized that it would be an incredible adventure to cycle around here. So we set up a tour operation that would allow people to do just that, without the hassle of organizing a trip from far away.

RSA Holiday’s

Explore the battlefields and mountains of Kwazulu Natal or conquer the high mountain passes in the Kingdom of Lesotho. Our cycling holidays are fully supported and offer cyclists of varying experience the opportunity to discover the pleasure of cycling in South Africa without the worries or the logistics.

We offer a range of 3 to 9 day cycle holidays, each individually designed to highlight the splendors of their specific areas.

Battlefields Cycling Holiday – 9 days

This holiday incorporates the most infamous of British, Boer and Zulu battlefields in Kwazulu Natal. The route is designed with recreational cyclists in mind and utilizes both tar and dirt roads.

Bushman Cycling Holiday – 7 days

Combine a unique mix of cycling and walking in the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg world heritage site. Spectacular views accompany the cyclist, while afternoon walks enable a closer view of this daunting landscape.

Mountain Kingdom Cycling Holiday – 7 days
Discover the beauty of the Lesotho highlands. This route is on tar and dirt and has several difficult mountain passes. This route is better suited for fit cyclists or as an add on to the Bushman holiday.

Wylde ride offers cycling holidays outside of South Africa in Europe, Australasia and the America’s.

Our overseas tour destinations vary from year to year. The tours follow the same format as the South Africa tours, except that bicycles are NOT provided. Some limited equipment will however be available. Flights to the start of the tour and from the end are also not included.

We offer a range of 10 to 14 day holidays, each individually designed to highlight the splendours of their specific areas.

Corsica is one of Europe’s hidden jems. The interior holds hilltop villages and shepherd huts, while the coast boasts crystal clear seas and breath taking vistas. Try the local boar or their delicious chestnuts and cheese.
