Description

This is what you have been searching for, Little Forest is set in the most beautiful surrounds with rolling lawns to a fully stocked trout dam and swimming pool on the water's edge. Little Forest is in the beautiful Balgowan Valley, behind the renowned Bosch Hoek Golfing Estate, and in the heart of the Midlands Meander.

We offer two cottages:

Malachite Cottage: (the self catering honeymoon cottage) - is set at the deep end of the dam. This has a beautiful en-suite bedroom. Fully fitted and kitted kitchenette with breakfast bar and a living room with a DStv bouquet of channels.

Sandpiper Cottage: (the self catering family cottage) - this is situated at the shallow end of the dam and overlooks the swimming pool on the trout dam edge. Sandpiper sleeps 6 adults and also has a sleeper couch for an extra 2 guests. Sandpiper has a fully fitted and kitted out kitchen, dining room and living room and has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite and there is another bathroom which is shared by the other 2 bedrooms.

Sandpiper Cottage has DStv fitted but, you need to bring your own SMART card.
  • Both cottages are serviced daily from 10am.
  • Arrivals form 2pm
  • Departures by 10am
  • 17km from Howick, with all the banks, a new Hospital and medical facilities, shops and restaurants.

There are 2 rowing boats available for guests use and a paddle ski, on the dam.

Little Forest is a long established Sport Horse Stud farm - registered with the SA Stud book, and South African Warmblood society. Here you can view future champions in their home environment.
